1976 – Non-Asbestos launch
1980 – Cape Calsil acquired DURASTEEL®
1981 – New corporate image as Fire Protection Engineers
1989 – Sales changed to supply only and original Licensees appointed
1998 – Cape Calsil Building Systems – production moved to Uxbridge, UK
2002 – Promat acquired Cape Calsil including DURASTEEL®
2003 – Promat DURASTEEL® production moved to Blackburn, UK
2003 – New Licensees appointed
2004 – Commence work on largest ever Promat DURASTEEL® project - Terminal 5, Heathrow
2006 – Tallest ever Promat DURASTEEL® barrier installed at White City
